Hello! My name is Sean Pastorok and I have been teaching martial arts since I was 16 years old. The life lessons and fundamental qualities of a black belt that I have learned and have made a part of my life are what I strive to provide all of my students. I combined my passion for music with the the love for teaching that I developed through martial arts.
I, just like many of my students, started playing the cello in elementary school and continued all throughout grade school and college. I studied Music Edcation at West Chester University and graduated in 2017. I founded, directed, and arranged KIGAKU, the first student string ensemble at WCU. Before I graduated, KIGAKU put on five successful themed concerts that supported our local musicans and promoted the exposure of contemporary string music. While student teaching in the Coucil Rock School District, I was offered and accepted an instrumental teaching position prior to graduating.
As the orchestral director of Maureen M. Welch and Churchville Elementary, I am dedicated to push each of my students to realize and achieve their personal best.
I will teach this class because it is the most important class I will ever teach.
I am patient and enthusiastic. I lead by example.
